Since the 1990s, Local Initiatives for Education (LIFE) have helped trained community health workers in refugee camps in East Africa. Since then we have worked to help children, families, and communities reach their full potential across Africa.
Local Initiatives for Education (LIFE) is dedicated to providing clean drinking water, food, agricultural support, educational resources, and medical care in Africa. As a relief and development organization we are dedicated to helping children, their families and communities reach their full potential. We seek to work with community leaders and families to set goals that can be achieved by working together. By promoting access to education, people discover and develop their own vision, skills and resources to move from dependency to self-sustainable livelihood. Our work extends assistance to all people regardless of their religious beliefs, gender, race or ethnic background.
To be a change agent by assisting people in their area of need and thus facilitating transformed lives.
